A Beautiful Occurence

Wow, I'm still taken back by what I have witnessed here in Georgia. I was driving to my not-quite-but-temporary-home when I saw an elderly man who had just fallen down. People started to stop and get out of their cars.
Now, STOP, picture this situation in your mind. Visualize the elderly man who fell down, and the people who are getting out of their cars. Visualize their cars. What do the cars look like? What do the people look like? What is their skin color? I don't know what you may be visualizing in your head, but I would guess just regular looking people right? But what is your definition of regular looking people? in this context?

O.k., here is the rest of the story, and this just happened to me, minutes ago.
As the people got out, there were a wide variety of colors of people getting out. Some were 'Hispanic', others were black skinned, and others were white skinned. No color outranked the other, but keep in mind, white skinned people do outrank all other colors of people, so it wouldn't necessarily be bad if you went by the statistics...I'm off subject.................. anyway, man, it was beautiful. but, ehh, not the fact that he was bleeding all over the place. It was wild that his dog pulled him down like that because of the train that rushed by. I loved how the man from the mostly black skinned church down the street came to help(I know it is mostly black skinned because I went to it before). It was kewl because this 90 year old man would talk to the pastor every time he walked by. This was kewl because the elderly man was from a generation of white-skinned people that have been exposed to many prejudice views of people from other races, and yet, they cared for one another.
So, I admit, this wasn't a monumental happening that goes against everything we have known in the United States of America. We all know that everyone is human, but how often do you get to see people acting human together. I mean, these people stopped what they were doing and cared for this man.....there is a lot of ways you could be critical of this, and I think I will write about it on another post, because I think this story needs to do its own talking.
